Terms of Service

Tickerday gives you a calm, plain-English read on a stock. It is education, not advice — the decisions stay yours. These terms cover the website, the app, subscriptions and the partner program.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Tickerday (the website at tickerday.com and the Tickerday app, together the “Service”) you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Service is operated by Tickerday, Sweden (“we”, “us”). You must be at least 18 to use it.

2. Not financial advice

Every forecast, score, verdict and explanation Tickerday produces is educational market analysis for informational purposes only. It is generated automatically from public market data and is the same for everyone — it is never tailored to your finances, goals or risk tolerance, and it is not a recommendation to buy, hold or sell any security. We are not a broker, investment adviser or financial institution. Markets involve risk; past performance, including Tickerday’s own track record, does not guarantee future results. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional before investing.

3. Your account

  • Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it current. One account per person.
  • You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us.

4. Credits, plans and billing

Forecasts are metered in credits. New accounts receive a small starter balance; paid plans (Pro, Premium, Family) add a monthly allowance and unlock Deep mode, the Almanac and alerts. Plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or our web billing provider, at the price shown at purchase.

  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Cancelling. App Store purchases are managed in your Apple ID subscription settings. Web purchases are managed from the link in your receipt email or by contacting support. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period ends.
  • Trials. If a free trial is offered, it is stated at purchase and converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  • Refunds.App Store purchases are refunded under Apple’s policies. For web purchases, consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal; since forecasts are delivered immediately, by starting to use the Service you ask us to begin right away and acknowledge that the withdrawal right is lost for the portion used. Contact support for anything that went wrong — we are reasonable.
  • Price changes. We will tell you before a price increase takes effect on your renewal.
  • Credits have no cash value, are not transferable and expire with the account.

5. Promo codes and comped access

We may issue promo codes that unlock Tickerday+ for a period without payment. Codes are offered at our discretion, may be limited in number or time, are personal and non-transferable, and may be withdrawn if misused (for example, by creating multiple accounts). Comped access ends at the stated date, carries no cash value and can be converted to a paid plan at any time.

6. Referral and partner program

Inviting friends earns credits for both of you when they subscribe. Approved partners earn a cash amount per referred paying subscriber as described on the partner page and in their partner agreement. Earnings accrue on paid charges only, are reversed when a charge is refunded or charged back, and are paid out manually at the intervals we communicate. Self-referrals, incentivised or fraudulent sign-ups, and misleading promotion forfeit earnings and may end participation.

7. Acceptable use

  • No scraping, bulk downloading or automated access beyond normal personal use.
  • No reselling, redistributing or presenting Tickerday output as your own advice to others.
  • No attempts to bypass credits, gates, rate limits or security measures.
  • No unlawful, abusive or deceptive behaviour.

8. Ownership

The Service, including Sunny, the weather language, the analysis engine and all content it produces, belongs to Tickerday or its licensors. You may use forecasts for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Market data is provided by third parties under their own terms.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service up, but it is provided “as is” and may be interrupted, delayed or changed. We may add, change or retire features, and may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tickerday is not liable for any investment losses or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by the Swedish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
